2016 Heritage Photo Contest: 4 Winners from Dr. Wilbert Keon High School in Chapeau!

2016 QAHN Heritage Photo Contest

This year, students from four schools participated in QAHN's annual Heritage Photo Contest. The submissions were of a very high calibre, making judging a challenge.

Students from the following schools submitted photos this year:

Trafalgar School for Girls, Montreal, Qc
Rosemere High School, Rosemere, Qc
Dr. Wilbert Keon School, Chapeau, Qc
West Island College, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc

QAHN is pleased to report that the following students have been selected to win prizes:

1st Prize ($200 with Certificate): Alexander Hynes, Grade 11, "Logging," Dr. Wilbert Keon School

2nd Prize ($150 with Certificate): Olivia Fellen, "Holiday Happiness," Secondary 5, Trafalgar School for Girls

3rd Prize ($100 with Certificate): Rosalie Simard, Secondary 5, "Skates," Rosemere High School

Honourable Mention (Certificate): Teagan Belley, Grade 11, "3 Generations," Dr. Wilbert Keon School

Honourable Mention (Certificate): Emily Gagnon, Grade 11, "A House Full of Memories," Dr. Wilbert Keon School

Honourable Mention (Certificate): Yoad Vered, Grade 10, "Paddle Through Time," West Island College

Honourable Mention (Certificate): Hailey Romain, Grade 11, "White Rose," Dr. Wilbert Keon School

Honourable Mention (Certificate): Nicole Tavares, Grade 7, "Luxury Speaks," West Island College

All the winners received certificates. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners also received cheques. The winning photos will be published in the Fall 2016 edition of the quarterly magazine Quebec Heritage News.
