Collections: 

Founded in 1977, the Centre conserves both public and private collections of significance to the history of the Outaouais region, including printed and manuscript material, photography, and documents on microfilm. Please contact the Archives for more information.

Special Activities: 

Centre d’interprétation du patrimoineTogether with the Centre regional d’archives de l’Outaouais and the archives of the City of Gatineau, the Archives nationales du Québec (Centre de l’Outaouais) participates in periodic exhibitions at the Centre d’interprétation du patrimoine, located on the first floor of the Maison de la culture de Gatineau. Recent exhibitions have included: «L’industrie forestière et la vie de chantier en Outaouais de 1860 à 1960,» «La démocratie municipale en Outaouais de 1845 à 1975,» and others.
